I’m somewhat afraid a fish will mistake my hydrophone for food and suddenly I’m fighting for my 744t’s life. I think about this silly but seemingly plausible scenario quite a bit, to the point where I’m a little nervous about recording in lakes or oceans. Has this ever happened? Is there a reason why it couldn’t happen? Please share your thoughts on this, or other irrational fears you might have related to field recording/sound design 🙂
