I’m somewhat afraid a fish will mistake my hydrophone for food and suddenly I’m fighting for my 744t’s life.  I think about this silly but seemingly plausible scenario quite a bit, to the point where I’m a little nervous about recording in lakes or oceans.  Has this ever happened? Is there a reason why it couldn’t happen?  Please share your thoughts on this, or other irrational fears you might have related to field recording/sound design 🙂

BTW very happy to finally be able to login and interact with the community.  I have lots of questions.
